Faithful Companions was founded by Dr. Mark Manzon and his wife, Monica RVT, to provide families with professional, personalized veterinary care during some of the most difficult moments of pet ownership.
Dr. Mark Manzon has devoted more than 21 years to animal care. Before becoming a veterinarian, he worked as a Registered Veterinary Technician, building a strong foundation in patient care, anesthesia, surgery, and emergency medicine. His passion for helping animals ultimately led him to pursue a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree and continue serving pets and their families as a veterinarian.
Over the course of his career, Dr. Manzon has gained extensive experience in clinical medicine, surgery, shelter medicine, and high-volume veterinary practice. He has treated thousands of patients and performed countless surgical procedures, earning a reputation for efficiency, medical excellence, and compassionate care.
Dr. Manzon also spent four years in veterinary leadership roles, serving as both a Lead Registered Veterinary Technician and later as Medical Director within one of the nation’s largest animal welfare organizations. These experiences strengthened his commitment to providing thoughtful, high-quality care while supporting both animals and the people who love them.
As a licensed California veterinarian, Dr. Manzon provides in-home euthanasia services, hospice support, quality of life consultations, and aftercare coordination throughout San Diego County. His goal is to help families navigate difficult decisions with confidence while allowing pets to remain in the comfort and familiarity of home whenever possible.
